Motorized Fire Damper without Sleeve FDM-A/B

Model FDM-A is a multiblade motorized fire damper with 3V style Blades. It is designed for closure of the HVAC duct opening in emergency Fire situations. It is certified to withstand fire conditions for 2 hours as well as 4 hours, as per UL555 testing standards , tested by CBRI Roorkee Model FDM-A can be installed vertically, with blades running horizontally with airflow in either direction.

RTR RTR+OCS

Caryaire Resettable Temperature Response device (RTR) is used individually or with open close switch (OCS) in Fire/Fire & Smoke Dampers. RTR has a UL recognized Temperature sensor which will cut off electric supply to the damper actuator when the temperatures exceed 165deg.F whereas OCS indicates the Damper open or close position. RTR is always provided in Fire / Fire & Smoke Dampers which have electric actuators as operators, however RTR+ OCS is supplied when asked for. RTR or RTR +OCS are installed in the factory itself. In Fire Condition, the RTR will close and lock the damper, when temperature exceed 165deg.F and the damper can be reopened , on cessation of Fire Condition , by pressing the Re-Set button on the RTR or RTR+OCS. RTR has option of providing one temperature sensor or two temperature sensors.

OCS-M

Open Close Switch (OCS-M)

OCS-M can be provided on control dampers or Fusible Link Fire Dampers and provides the blade position of the dampers. It consists of a box containing two switches which help indicate the Open & close position of the blades. It is mounted directly on the blade axle and the two switches are activated as and when the Blades Close or open. Close or Open position can be displayed remotely.

Open Close Switch (OCS)

OCS can be provided with Fire or Fire & Smoke Dampers and has the ability to indicate the blade position of the dampers. It consists of a switch box containing two switches which help indicate the fully open and fully close position of the blades. The Switches are operated by a lever connected to the damper blades. Position of the damper blades can be displayed on the Control Panel of the damper or the fire alarm Panel as desired.
